Kottayam,
one of the most developed districts, of Kerala is famous
for its achievements in educational, cultural and industrials
fields and in the living standard of the people. But it
is a fact the golden fruits of these developments have been
mostly enjoyed by the majority communities of the district
while as the Muslim minorities have been deprived of these
progresses and achievements due to poverty and deficiency
active of social organizations and service societies to
motivate their education and to direct the society towards
the ways and means of success in the various fields of life.Many
of the Muslim public have lost their religious consciousness
out of staresing and ignorance and are becoming blind flowers
of non-Islamic and secular cultural groups as they exercise
with constant and continuous propaganda and temptation activities
in the different modes such as charity societies, educational
institutions and other attractive means. As the worst outcome
this crucial situations at least a few of the poor Muslims
have been trapped away from their original belief due to
poverty and pressure of light living conditions.
It
was under these circumstances that some of the Muslim
scholars and leaders come forward with the idea of establishing
an Islamic complex under the name “MARKAZ UL HUDHA”
at chenganassery, Kottayam, Kerala, with the broad aim
uplifting the living standard of the Muslim through the
social development and employment scheme , motivating
them to acquire Islamic and modern education spreading
of Islamic culture and empowering Muslim families spiritually
and materially.
The following Institutions have
already started functioning under the MARKAZUL HUDA
:-
MARKAZ takes care of orphan’s
, poor and destitute, children for sakes by their fathers….undertaking
all the expenses for their education, hostel, food, dress,
medicine etc. in addition to above , through its public
welfare fund, Markaz helps the poor and needy Muslims
like orphan girls, widows, handicapped and other disabled
to pay for their education, medical treatment, marriages,
house construction etc.
As the Markaz is not having and permanent source of income,
for all the above activities and services which cost us
a huge amount in every month, we are fully depending on
donations and contributions from the hands good hearted
well wishers. Further also we seek from all the kind and
good wishing brothers to extend their support to us both
materially and spiritually and to take part in this charity
project. May Allah enable us all to help and assist the
poor and needy.
